Making our Wine

Luckily we have a very good 'oenologue' (wine maker), Philippe Croce-Spinelli who makes and bottles our wine, so I do not claim credit for the excellent quality of the white, rose and reds Cotes de Provence. We also have an excellent Chardonnay.   Every year we sell all our wine, and occasionally run out of stock before we can bottle the previous year's wine. As we have no overheads, no advertising and avoid expensive packaging and bottles and sell much of our wine direct we can afford to price it below the average. We do not charge TVA (VAT), another saving for private buyers.

Prices from the Domaine

The Cotes de Provence and the Chardonnay sell for 60 euros a case of 12. The best of the reds is the cuvee Amiral which has matured in oak casks. This sells at 90 euros a dozen - see 
Guide Hachette under visitors comments .  The Vin de Pays is 36 euros a case and which we also sell in a 10 litre wine box. The prices quoted here are from direct from our domaine and do not include carriage.

We can send wine to any address in France but the transport costs depend on the quantity, the more the cheaper. For example 5 cases (60 bottles) to Paris costs 9.61 euros per case.

Our Wine in Calais

Our wine Cotes de Provence red, rose, and white and Chardonnay is available for collection from Chai Ardresien at ARDRES 3 km from Calais on the RN 43. Telephone: 33 (0) 3 21 36 26 26 ask for Paul or Bee Jones, or look at their web page at www.vineyards-direct.com.    You pay me for the wine a week before collection. I accept sterling cheques. Our prices from Ardresien are 10 euros a case more than those above.
